One would think the World Health Organization and CDC should be on the same page when it comes to who wears masks. That thought would be wrong!
The World Health Organization recommends that healthy people only wear a mask when they are taking care of someone infected with the coronavirus. This is different from the CDC, who is urging people to wear a face mask anytime they are in a public setting, whether they are infected or not, to help limit the virus spreading.
"If you do not have any respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough or runny nose, you do not need to wear a mask," Dr. April Baller says in a video on the world health body's website posted in March, per Fox News. "Masks should only be used by health care workers, caretakers or by people who are sick with symptoms of fever and cough."

It seems WHO and CDC should be on the same page as far as their coronavirus mask guidelines. That said, it's not surprising at all that they aren't.
