Republican Senator Ted Cruz walked into the lion's den when he went on "The View" to promote his new book.
During the show, Cruz was asked whether he believed President Biden won the election. This was clearly something Cruz was prepared for.
As soon as the topic of "election deniers" came up Cruz calmly pulled a cheat sheet out of his pocket and started listing off examples of Democrats denying election results.
“There are a lot of folks in the media that try to, any time a Republican is in front of a TV camera try to say, the election was fair and square and legitimate. Do you know who y’all don’t do that to? You don’t do it to Hillary Clinton who stood up and said, ‘Trump stole the election.’ Or Stacey Abrams who said the election was stolen. They sat here and said it was illegitimate.”
“It was,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg chirped.
