So, what did he do? He tried to get a job as a police officer in a different state, Arkansas! He did this while he was hiding in South Carolina.
The funny part is, when he applied for the job, he used a fake name. But the police are very smart. They quickly found out his real name using their computers. They knew he was the guy they were looking for.
