UFC President Dana White Makes Political Pledge After Trump Victory

UFC President Dana White has been one of Donald Trump’s strongest allies. He played a key role in Trump’s campaign for a second term. But now, White says he’s done with politics.

In an interview with the New Yorker, White shared his frustration. "I’m never f---ing doing this again," he said.

"I want nothing to do with this s---. It’s gross. It’s disgusting. I want nothing to do with politics," he added.

White and Trump’s friendship dates back to UFC’s early struggles. Trump opened his Atlantic City casino to the sport when others wouldn’t. Back then, UFC was often dismissed as overly violent.

Since then, UFC has soared in popularity. Trump, too, became a regular presence at fights. "Every time, when he was getting hammered at his worst, we’d walk into that arena and the place erupts and goes crazy," White recalled.

"It shows other people, Oh, wait. Everybody doesn’t hate Donald Trump like the media is telling us," he said.

Trump’s recent appearance at UFC 309 drew loud cheers. He walked toward the Octagon alongside figures like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Vivek Ramaswamy, and Tulsi Gabbard.

Before the fight, White said Trump and Conor McGregor always get the biggest ovations at UFC events. The energy is unmatched.

Trump’s campaign also leveraged popular podcasts. He appeared on shows like "The Joe Rogan Experience," "This Past Weekend with Theo Von," and Barstool Sports’ "Bussin with the Boys."

White believes these platforms helped Trump connect with young men. "You’re getting conversations in these podcasts, and you yourself, as a young kid, get to really see who Donald Trump is," he said.

"Not the bulls--- you hear from the far-left media," White concluded.
