Twitter users voted on a poll for Elon Musk to step down as Twitter CEO.
“Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll,” Musk Tweeted Sunday afternoon.
Among more than 17.5 million respondents, 57.5% voted yes and 42.5% voted no, according to the final results of the poll.

Musk officially purchased Twitter on October 27. Since then he has made wholesale changes to the company, including firing top executives and making major changes to the website.
The Tesla CEO has faced harsh criticism from the left after calling for the defeat of the "woke mind virus." Musk also mocked pronouns while calling for the prosecution of Dr. Anthony Fauci.
So far Musk has honored the results of his Twitter polls. Two of the polls include lifting Donald Trump's suspension and lifting the suspension of the reporters who allegedly revealed his exact location.
