Former President Trump will hold a rally this month at Madison Square Garden, confirmed by Fox News Digital.
The rally is set for Oct. 27, just nine days before Election Day.
It’s expected to be a first-come, first-serve event. Campaign officials are anticipating a massive turnout.
"Like Coachella and others to come, MSG is because we are adding some very big venues because we are seeing very high interest in attending events," a campaign source told Fox News Digital.
Madison Square Garden can hold 19,500 people.
At a campaign event in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Trump mentioned, "We just rented Madison Square Garden. We're going to make a play for New York. Hasn't been done in a long time."
The last Republican to win New York in a presidential race was Ronald Reagan in 1984.
"We're making a play for New Jersey. We're making a play for Virginia," Trump added. He also mentioned targeting Minnesota and New Mexico.
Fox News Power Rankings show New York and New Jersey as solidly Democrat, with Minnesota, New Mexico, and Virginia leaning Democrat.
This will be Trump’s second big rally in New York state.
Last month, Trump held a rally at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. Over 60,000 tickets were requested for the 16,000-seat venue. Thousands watched outside on large screens.
Trump also held a summer rally in the Bronx at Crotona Park, where up to 10,000 supporters showed up despite a permit for 3,500.
Recently, Trump has drawn massive crowds, with over 20,000 attending his Butler, Pennsylvania rally last weekend.
In May, his rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, attracted more than 100,000 people.
Madison Square Garden, home to the Knicks and Rangers, has hosted political conventions before, including the Republican National Convention in 2004.
