"President Trump is sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences," she stated.
Leavitt also shared the images on X, emphasizing that deportations are now underway. The photos sparked questions about who was boarding and where the flights originated.
Details about the individuals or the location of the images were not immediately provided. Speculation grew as officials remained tight-lipped.
Fox News Digital obtained information revealing a surge in ICE arrests over a 33-hour period. From midnight Jan. 21 to 9 a.m. Jan. 22, more than 460 illegal immigrants were detained.
Those arrested included individuals with serious criminal histories. Offenses ranged from sexual assault and robbery to drug and weapons charges, as well as domestic violence.
Agents reported arrests of nationals from countries across the globe. These included Afghanistan, Angola, Brazil, and Venezuela, among many others.
The operation highlights a sweeping effort to target illegal immigration. Enforcement continues to draw attention and debate nationwide.
