Trump Responds to High School Shooting, Reveals How He Will End It

Former President Donald Trump talked about the school shooting in Georgia during a Fox News town hall. He promised to "heal our world" if re-elected.

"It's a sick and angry world for a lot of reasons," Trump said. "We're going to make it better. We're going to heal our world. We're going to get rid of all these wars starting everywhere because of incompetence."

Fox News' Sean Hannity mentioned the tragic shooting that happened earlier that morning. The shooting took place at a high school in Barrow County, Georgia, and four people were killed.

"We're going to hopefully do very well," Trump continued. "We have an election coming up... I think we're going to be well set up to do a great job."

The shooting at Apalachee High School was carried out by 14-year-old Colt Gray. Four people were killed, including two students and two teachers.

Nine others were also injured in the attack.

"Within minutes, law enforcement was on the scene," Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith told reporters. "Two school resource officers were also there and the suspect immediately surrendered."

Colt Gray, a student at the high school, will be charged with murder and tried as an adult, according to Smith.

Trump was in Pennsylvania for the town hall and will return soon for a debate against Vice President Kamala Harris in Philadelphia next Tuesday.
