Trump Escalates Feud With Marjorie Taylor Greene, Gives Her New Nickname

President Donald Trump unloaded on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene over the weekend, slapping her with a string of brutal new nicknames and accusing her of betraying the entire Republican Party. The feud, which exploded publicly, shows no signs of slowing down. And Trump made it clear he now sees Greene as part of the “RINO” problem rather than the solution.

In a fiery Truth Social post, Trump wrote that “Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green grass turns brown when it begins to ROT!) betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that we all know she always was.” He compared her to Thomas Massie and tossed in a sarcastic “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!” for good measure. Hours later he escalated further, calling her “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene” and saying she was “a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!”

It marked Trump’s second nickname for her within 24 hours. His first shot on Saturday morning was calling her “Wacky Marjorie.” By the end of the day, the president had unleashed three separate labels — a clear sign that he was done being patient.

Greene responded on X, thanking supporters and hinting that her push to release the Epstein files triggered the backlash. She wrote, “I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are.” She added that the “toxic political industrial complex thrives on ripping us all apart.”

Trump had already withdrawn his endorsement on Friday, accusing Greene of “complaining” instead of celebrating what he described as historic achievements. He referred to her as a “ranting lunatic” and promised “complete and unyielding support” for a primary challenger in 2026. Trump also claimed Greene was upset over him not returning her calls, saying he simply couldn’t speak to someone “ranting” every day.

Greene hit back by posting a screenshot of a message she said she sent Trump, urging him to “Check the flight logs of Epstein's plane” and accusing him of trying to stop the release of the Epstein files. She argued that “Epstein was the spider that wove the web of the deep state” and said Trump’s anger “speaks for itself.”

She told her supporters that she has “supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money,” and fought for him even when others walked away. But she drew a line, saying, “I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump. I worship God… and I serve my district GA14 and the American people.”

Her shift has been months in the making. Greene has increasingly criticized Trump, especially over Israel and foreign policy. Her appearance on “The View,” where Sunny Hostin suggested she had moved to the left, only fueled the narrative that she’s drifting away from the MAGA base.

Now a once-solid alliance appears completely shattered. Trump is openly recruiting someone to run against her. Greene is accusing him of siding with the establishment. And the political earthquake shows just how volatile the fight over the Epstein files — and the future direction of the Republican Party — has become.
