Target Rolls Out New Paid Membership Program

Target has launched a new paid membership program, Target Circle 360. It began accepting members last Sunday, alongside an upgraded loyalty program.

The membership offers unlimited same-day delivery for orders over $35 via Shipt. Delivery can be as fast as 60 minutes after purchase.

Members get an extra 30 days for returns and free 2-day shipping on numerous items. The annual cost is $99, but a promotional offer cuts it to $49 for early sign-ups until May 18. This discount also applies to Target Circle Card holders for more than just the first year.

About a month ago, Target announced it would revamp its loyalty program. The free Target Circle offers deals, special bonuses, and free trials from partner brands.

Cara Sylvester, chief guest experience officer, said the new program aims to provide value and convenience. It's designed to make shopping at Target feel personalized and rewarding.

To celebrate the new membership, Target is hosting a Circle Week with discounts and promotions for members. The event offers deals on a variety of categories and lasts until Saturday.

Kristen Wiig promotes the event and the loyalty program relaunch, reprising her "Target Lady" role from "Saturday Night Live" in ads.

Target, with nearly 2,000 stores, plans to expand by over 300 locations within the next decade.
