'Serious Ethical Concerns': New Report Details 'Squad' Member's Ties To Radical Groups

A new briefing document is raising the alarm over Michigan Representative Rashida Tlaib. The report details "serious ethical and national security concerns." It claims Tlaib has established a "recurring pattern" of behavior linked to designated foreign terrorist entities.

The report was released by the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy. It focuses heavily on Tlaib’s campaign finances and ideological alignment. The briefing notes that her campaign paid nearly $600,000 between 2020 and 2025 to a specific consulting firm.

"Tlaib’s conduct demonstrates how extremist ideologies can infiltrate mainstream democratic institutions," the report states. "If left unchecked, her actions will continue to legitimize hate." The document argues that her rhetoric and affiliations pose a risk to the integrity of the U.S. government.

The briefing also highlights Tlaib’s public appearances alongside controversial figures. She reportedly shared a stage with Wisam Rafeedie, a convicted operative for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Rafeedie has publicly defended the October 7 Hamas attacks as "resistance."

The report calls for a formal congressional inquiry into Tlaib’s conduct. It also asks the Department of Justice to review whether she or her affiliates violated laws against providing material support to terrorists. Additionally, the group is pushing for a forensic audit of her campaign fundraising.

This is not the first time Tlaib has faced formal action in the House. She was censured in November 2023 for her comments regarding the Hamas attacks. A second resolution was introduced in September 2025 following her participation in a conference featuring alleged Hamas financiers.

Tlaib has consistently characterized these allegations as politically motivated attacks. However, the report insists that her use of antisemitic tropes and her campaign's financial history require immediate action. The Michigan Democrat remains a central figure in the debate over U.S. foreign policy.
