Robert F. Kennedy Jr. changed his stance and asked his supporters to vote for former President Trump, regardless of their state, on Tuesday.
Previously, Kennedy had only urged his backers in swing states to vote for Trump. After dropping out and endorsing Trump last month, he's working to have his name removed from the ballot in several states.
"No matter what state you live in, you should be voting for Donald Trump," Kennedy said in a video on social media. "It's the only way to get me and what I stand for into Washington, D.C., and achieve the mission of my campaign."
He added, "Right now, freedom of speech is under relentless attack in America and globally. But at least we still have enough freedom to watch this video and run an opposition campaign."
Kennedy joins Tulsi Gabbard as one of two former Democrats endorsing Trump in 2024. Both have criticized the Democratic Party for leaning too far left.
