Red Lobster is bringing back its famous all-you-can-eat Endless Shrimp promotion starting Monday. This marks a surprising revival of one of the restaurant chain's most recognizable menu offerings. The popular deal will return for a limited time at select locations across the country.
One Red Lobster location confirmed the new offering will be priced at $24.99 per person. This is a noticeable increase from the $20 price tag when the deal most recently appeared on menus in 2024. Other locations have reportedly priced the seafood promotion at $29.99 for hungry customers.
Diners will have five different shrimp varieties to choose from during the promotion. This includes a new flavor called Marry Me Shrimp, which features a tomato cream sauce with a garlic and herb crumble topping. Other options include Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, Walt's Favorite Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, and Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp.
The massive deal was previously discontinued in 2024 after it devastated the company's bottom line. The promotion was widely cited as a major factor in a disastrous financial loss ahead of a corporate bankruptcy filing. That financial strain ultimately led to the unfortunate closure of 130 restaurant locations.
The company previously signaled it would not bring the promotion back to menus. However, strong customer demand and a recent surge in online engagement led executives to reconsider. The Orlando-based chain officially announced the return of the two-decade legacy offering on Monday.
The company released a statement addressing the massive online push from loyal customers. "After thousands of social media mentions since it last appeared on menus, Red Lobster, the iconic seafood restaurant brand, is announcing the return of one of its most popular experiences, for a limited time: Endless Shrimp," the company said.
The previous iteration of the offering became a permanent $20 menu fixture in 2023. It was widely seen as a marketing success that quickly turned into a massive financial strain as demand overwhelmed supply costs. The deal accounted for $11 million of the company’s staggering $76 million net loss that year.
Red Lobster CEO Damola Adamolekun took over in late 2024 to guide the struggling chain out of bankruptcy. He initially ruled out bringing the promotion back, noting to reporters it was simply because he knew how to do math. The company now appears to be revisiting that firm stance under his leadership.
Adamolekun signaled a renewed focus on the in-demand offering in a statement released on Monday. "This is about putting our guests first and bringing back something they truly love," he said.
"Endless Shrimp has been a part of Red Lobster's legacy for 20 years and our guests have never stopped asking for it. We're excited to bring it back, for a limited time, in a way that works for our business today and honors what made it special from the beginning. Because when our fans talk, we listen," Adamolekun concluded.
