After signing the Inflation Reduction Act, President Biden left for home in Delaware again, making it the 49th time during his presidency he's traveled to his home state.
This trip marks a record-setting 150 days Biden has spent at home in Delaware during his 18-month presidency. This easily defeats the previous contenders for the record.

GWBush: 14 visits to Texas ranch (100 days).
By my count, this is Biden’s 49th visit to Delaware as pres. Brings number of days there to 150. Compares to:

That's not all the vacationing Biden has done, either. He also spent time in Nantucket Island, Massachusetts for Thanksgiving and his summer vacation at Kiawah Island, North Carolina last week.
The White House has defended President Biden's constant vacationing.
“The president lives in Wilmington. It’s his home. That’s where he’s lived for many, many years,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said back in 2021.
President Biden doesn't even try to hide how much he wants to go home to Delaware.
“Every time I get a chance, I go home to Delaware,” Biden said while giving a speech in Ohio. “You think I’m joking? I’m not.”
