The mystery Edmonton Oilers flasher has finally spoken out. The woman, known only as Kate, revealed her motives for the daring act that went viral.
Tracked down by Barstool Sports' “Spittin Chiclets” podcast, she remained a mystery until now. When asked why she bared her chest, Kate initially said, “You know, what… I don’t know.”
She then admitted, “The handful of Cheezies and the eight Trulys I drank in the first period was definitely inspiring.”
Kate was filmed lifting her jersey during the Western Conference Final against the Dallas Stars on May 31. “We were all going crazy. It wasn’t planned or anything… and yeah, it just kind of happened,” she said.
Her brief moment of fame spread quickly online, garnering a lot of attention. The clip led to employment offers from several porn sites.
One site, CamSoda, offered her up to $100,000 to perform on their platform. Kate said she reported the footage and got it removed from X, but it resurfaced.
During the podcast interview, Kate, disguised in a hoodie and sunglasses, joked, “I’m still trying to be in the witness relocation program a little bit here.”
Kate, who works in a Canadian oil field, addressed a common question. When asked if her breasts were real, she said, “No, they are not.”
