Mark Wahlberg and his loved ones are pleased with their decision to relocate from Los Angeles to Las Vegas a year prior.
"Everybody's adapted nicely. The kids are all out at school, and everybody's happy," the star shared with People magazine about his family – comprising his spouse, Rhea Durham, and their four offspring: Ella, 20, Michael, 17, Brendan, 15, and Grace, 13.
Since making the move to Las Vegas, the "Father Stu" star has transitioned into another residence in the city, an insider informed Fox News Digital. Just last month, news surfaced that Wahlberg had sold the original Las Vegas property he first settled in for an estimated $16.6 million.
This bi-level residence, spanning 7,327 square feet, was situated in The Summit Club in Summerlin. He had originally bought it for $14.5 million in 2022, as reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
In 2022, the renowned actor became part of the growing number of celebrities leaving Hollywood, relocating his family to Nevada in the fall.
Speaking to Fox News Digital in March, Wahlberg remarked, "it's really giving the kids a chance to thrive."
He added, "It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think Las Vegas, they think the Strip. But just about 15, 20 minutes away, there are many other incredible regions centered around family and community."
While guesting on "The Talk" the previous October, Wahlberg delved deeper into his visionary projects for his new place of residence.
"I moved to Nevada where, after this gubernatorial election, hopefully it will go to legislation and get a bill passed, so we can get a tax credit for the state — build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0," he expressed.
"We're always looking for new opportunities and new adventures," he said to Fox News. "I hope to create of a lot of opportunity here. And I moved to California originally to make movies. I've made three movies in the last 15 years in LA. So, as you know, it's been difficult.
"The kids are really happy, and it's all about them."
In 2016, the inaugural Wahlburgers in Las Vegas was unveiled at the Grand Bazaar Shops at the Horseshoe, previously known as Bally's. By March, the actor marked the launch of his second Wahlburger's establishment on the Las Vegas Strip.
