Man Arrested for Kicking Projector, Shouting Expletives After Seeing Kamala Harris Meme

An irate man was arrested after he kicked a projector and shouted expletives before storming out of the room. What sent him into a fit of rage? A Kamala Harris meme.

Turning Point USA contributor Benny Johnson was in Iowa City Iowa giving a presentation titled "Meme Wars." The presentation points out that memes give young conservatives the opportunity to counter many leftist ideologies. Johnson has long pushed the slogan, "The Left Can't Meme."

Johnson presented a meme that showed Kamala Harris coming out of her home and sees a bus that says "Texas Border Patrol." Harris says "I love it" while Mexican-themed music plays. This is a reminder of her claim that the border is "secure."

Well, not everyone was on the same page with this meme. A man in attendance went ballistic at the site of it. He went nuts, started cursing and kicked the projector.

Johnson used footage of the incident on Twitter to further advance his "The Left Can't Meme" argument. Check it out:

The unidentified man shouted, "Racist a** b****. F*** you. Swear to f***ing G*d. F***."

A video of the man being arrested surfaced shortly after the incident occurred.

Benny Johnson issued a statement regarding the issue:

"We often say The LEFT CAN’T MEME.

"Tonight, we proved it. I was giving a peaceful speech to the University of Iowa Turning Point USA chapter about memes this evening. During our presentation we played a harmless meme of Kamala Harris welcoming a bus full of migrants, set to tasteful mariachi music. That is when a low-T leftist strung-out on pure soy snapped into a violent rage.

"I watched dispassionately as the lib’s last drop of testosterone evaporated in an unprovoked kick-attack on an innocent projector.

"That projector’s crime? Playing memes.

"Thankfully, no one was hurt by the domestic terrorist attack other than an innocent Panasonic Projector. The perpetrator was arrested soon after and booked for a hate-crime against memes. Our hearts go out to the brave Iowa City Police department. Fund The Police.

"Let this moment serve as a poignant metaphor for what happens to meme-makers across social media when their accounts get attacked.

"As someone who lived through January 6th, I can tell you this attack was much scarier and represents a larger existential threat to our Democracy. The 1st Amendment is under attack constantly from Left. It survived - this time. The Left Can’t Meme."

There's never been a greater day for "The Left Can't Meme" brigade.
