'Make MSNBC Great Again': Russell Brand Rips Partisan Network

Russell Brand, the British comedian and commentator, criticized MSNBC for failing to recognize their own political biases after one of their hosts attacked Fox News.

During an appearance on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher," Russell Brand was present when MSNBC journalist John Heilemann criticized Fox News, stating that many people believe it is not a genuine news network, but rather a propaganda network. He went on to claim that the major anchors, such as Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity, who spent all day alleging voter fraud during the election, were actually admitting behind the scenes that their claims were false.

“It’s disingenuous to claim that the biases that are exhibited on Fox News are any different from the biases that are exhibited on MSNBC,” Brand fired back. “It’s difficult to suggest that these corporations operate as anything other than mouthpieces for their affiliate owners in BlackRock and Vanguard.”

“And unless we start to embrace — and also, mate, like just spiritually, if I may use that word in your great country, we have to take responsibility for our own perspective,” Brand continued. “I’ve been on that MSNBC, mate, it was a propagandist nut-crackery over there. I went on that show called ‘Morning Joe.’ It was absurd the way they carried on. I don’t know what it was; it wasn’t morning, there was no one called Joe there; no one could concentrate, they didn’t understand the basic tenets of journalism.”

“I think to sit within the castle of MSNBC throwing rocks at Fox News is ludicrous,” Brand stated. “Make MSNBC better. Make MSNBC great again.”

In September of last year, Russell Brand declared his departure from YouTube as his discussions regarding COVID-19 and Ivermectin had been subjected to censorship.

“They do things to get people to self-censor and Rumble doesn’t do that,” Joe Rogan explained to Brand. “They’re running a business. I understand it from their perspective. They’re running a business, they have advertisers. I understand it from their perspective. But from a content creation perspective, you just couldn’t trust them.”
