Fox News got hold of mugshots and rap sheets from a major ICE bust. Over 200 criminal illegal migrants were arrested in Boston and across Massachusetts.
Some were already deported and came back. There were fentanyl traffickers, a child rape convict, and even murderers.
The operation took place from March 18 to March 23. It was a large sweep by ICE targeting dangerous illegal immigrants.
Boston was a major focus. It's a sanctuary city, meaning it limits help to federal immigration enforcement.
In total, 370 illegal immigrants were arrested in the area. ICE confirmed that 205 of them had serious criminal records or charges.
This included violent crimes, drug trafficking, and sex offenses. Many had re-entered the U.S. illegally after being deported.
ICE said the goal was public safety. “We focus on those who pose the greatest threat to our communities,” one ICE official said.
The arrests are sparking debate over sanctuary policies. Critics say these policies let dangerous criminals slip through.
