Kid Rock says President Donald Trump is bringing in the first “golden age” of 21st-century America. The music icon shared his views on Varney & Co. and said he’s never been more optimistic about the country’s future. “I believe the goldenest of all golden ages is coming to America,” he said.
He added that the excitement isn’t just for himself. “I couldn’t be more excited, to not only be here to witness it, but more excited really for my son and my grandchildren,” Kid Rock said. “What this could do for their futures one day, after God calls me home.”
His comments followed Trump’s recent rally in Warren, Michigan, where the president celebrated his first 100 days back in office. Trump called Michigan the “heartland” of America and said his presidency is ending the era of radical politics. “We’re ushering in the golden age of America,” Trump said at the rally.
The location was no accident. Michigan is key to Trump’s 2024 strategy, especially with its deep ties to manufacturing and the auto industry. He framed his tariff policies as a way to bring back jobs and push out special interests.
Kid Rock praised Trump’s leadership and vision. “The way this man gets things done and just doesn’t know the word lose in his vocabulary,” he said. The singer added that Trump’s performance is giving him confidence to invest more.
“I’m almost ready to double down or gamble a little bit more in the stock market,” he told Varney. “Because I believe in this man so much.” He said Trump’s approach gives him long-term hope.
He acknowledged the challenge of reshaping an entire country. “It is not easy to restructure a business,” Kid Rock said. “Especially when the business, in this example, is the United States of America.”
Still, he urged patience. “I have the utmost confidence that what he’s doing is the right thing,” he added. “It’s going to take him just a little bit of time, as we all know.”
The singer encouraged others to be smart and consider jumping in now. “I’m with him. Just stay patient, kick back, and, if you’re smart, maybe get in on things right now,” he said.
Kid Rock has been a longtime Trump supporter. And now, he says, it’s more than politics — it’s about legacy.
