Hillary Clinton Blames 'White Men of a Certain Relgion,' Conservatives Fire Back

Hillary Clinton is once again under fire for her rhetoric.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the former Democratic presidential nominee blasted “White men, of a certain religion” and claimed they are doing damage to the nation. “The idea that you could turn the clock back and try to recreate a world that never was, dominated by, you know, let’s say it, White men, of a certain persuasion, a certain religion, a certain point of view, a certain ideology, is just doing such damage to what we should be aiming for,” Clinton said.

Her comments quickly drew sharp criticism from conservatives who viewed them as a swipe at religious Americans. Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council told Fox News Digital that Clinton seemed upset “the majority of Americans rejected the trajectory that the left had America on.” He added, “It’s not just White men of a particular persuasion… America has rejected this leftist ideology that has totally decoupled itself from truth.”

Clinton went further in her interview, accusing conservatives of trying to “turn the clock back” on progress, erasing history about slavery, suffrage, and other struggles from museums and national parks. Perkins countered that it is the left who has been rewriting history for decades. He also questioned whether Clinton respected the Founding Fathers, saying her rhetoric suggested a desire to erase the men who built America’s constitutional framework.

Roger Severino of The Heritage Foundation called her remarks “beyond tone deaf,” especially as the nation mourns Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. “At least it confirms what we all suspected, that Hillary still believes millions of Americans belong in her ‘basket of deplorables’ based on their sex, race, and sincere religious beliefs,” he said.

Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America also weighed in, praising strong men and rejecting what she called the false notion of “toxic masculinity.” She said real masculinity “protects the weak and leads with courage and character,” pointing to recent heroes who risked their lives in shootings and the daily bravery of first responders and military personnel.

Nance added that women are “begging” for strong husbands, fathers, and providers, insisting that a strong nation requires strong men.
