Guy Fieri has decided not to give his sons any of his substantial fortune unless they complete graduate school. He's even prepared to spend all his wealth to make this point.
Known for his unique culinary creations like Donkey sauce and an appetizer sampler presented on a Ferris wheel, the chef shared his financial plans during an interview with Fox News.
He was inspired by Shaquille O'Neal, who has a similar approach to parenting and wealth.
“Shaq said it best,” Fieri said. “Shaq said, ‘If you want this cheese, you got to get to two degrees.”
For the celebrity chef, this approach isn't a novel concept, as it echoes the advice that his father consistently gave him.
“I’ve told them the same thing my dad told me,” Fieri said. “My dad says, ‘When I die, you can expect that I’m going to die broke, and you’re going to be paying for the funeral.'”
Imagine a millionaire chef, known for his extravagant style, attempting to spend his entire fortune. Picture him buying every pair of sunglasses, every Camaro, and every flame-patterned shirt in sight. It would be reminiscent of the plot from "Brewster's Millions."
The thought of him blowing through his cash in this manner is quite amusing.
