Ryan Shazier, a former professional football player known for his tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers, experienced a career-ending injury during his time in the league. Recently, he was involved in a controversy involving alleged infidelity.
His wife, Michelle, reportedly shared and then removed screenshots of text exchanges between Ryan and another woman on social media. These screenshots were captured by TMZ Sports and various other outlets before their removal from Michelle Shazier's social media account.
"A person that loves his family… this is what they do to their family… the WIFE.. that has been there for him since day 1! Infidelity at its finest! I can’t sit here and keep hiding anymore. You can have it. I deserve better," she wrote in a post. "This is Ryan… he’s a liar and a cheater!"
The messages seemed to reveal Shazier engaging in flirtatious conversation with a woman named Marie. The exchange escalated as Shazier reportedly shared book recommendations with her, including titles focused on intimate and explicit topics. These recommendations included guides on specific sexual techniques and practices.
"Michelle and I have been living apart and are currently separated. As we work through what comes next for our family, I ask for privacy and prayers," Shazier said to TMZ Sports.
They tied the knot in 2019.
