Twitter CEO Elon Musk has promised to deliver transparency after the latest "Twitter Files" release indicate that conservatives were being "shadowbanned."
The files implicated Twitter in using a complex suppression system against Twitter users the platform deemed problematic.
Musk has promised to deliver a transparent system that will allow users to see if they are shadowbanned. This is in response to the latest Twitter Files released by journalist Bari Weis.

There was photo evidence of conservative personalities like Charlie Kirk and Dan Bongino having their Twitter reach throttled. These photos were of internal Twitter software.
Kirk's reach was throttled by being on a “Do Not Amplify” list. Bongino's account was added to a "search blacklist."

Nothing was off limits with this Twitter censorship as Twitter employees were even able to browse through users' direct messages.

Twitter executives have long denied any use of shadowbanning. Back in 2018 former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said the platform did not “shadowban anyone based on political ideology” in testimony to Congress.
