James Carville predicted a plot twist before November’s presidential election. He pointed out that this cycle has already been full of surprises.
Carville said, "How many times did we start the day, start the news night, ‘Who could have thought this was going to happen?’"
Carville appeared on CNN’s Anderson Cooper to discuss a new movie. It’s titled "Carville: Winning is Everything, Stupid." The film focuses on his efforts to get President Biden to step out of the race.
Carville thinks something unexpected is still ahead. "I think there’s another plot twist coming here," he said.
But he added, "I’m just not good enough to tell you what it is."
Carville has warned about Biden’s re-election chances. He’s voiced concern about the Democratic party’s standing, especially among male voters.
Carville believes Vice President Harris will win. "It doesn’t feel like a race Harris is going to lose," he said.
Cooper brought up Bernie Sanders calling Carville a "hack." He asked if Carville worries about what he says.
Carville responded, "I’ve never had to apologize for anything I’ve said in 32 years." He admitted he sometimes intends to offend.
