Country music star Morgan Wallen got arrested in Nashville, Tennessee. He allegedly threw a chair off a rooftop bar on Sunday night, according to Fox News Digital.
Court papers reveal Wallen faces three reckless endangerment charges and one disorderly conduct charge. This incident occurred right after he kicked off his 2024 tour in Indianapolis.
Wallen's attorney, Worrick Robinson, stated, "At 10:53 p.m. Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities."
The Metro Nashville Police Department released Wallen's mugshot on X. The singer is shown smiling broadly in the photo.
The police shared details, saying Wallen was booked for throwing a chair from Chief's Bar's rooftop. The chair nearly hit two officers on Broadway. His bond was set at $15,250.
An arrest report highlighted that the chair drop happened close to officers standing outside Chief's Bar. This bar, backed by Eric Church, had just opened.
Venue staff identified Wallen as the one who threw the chair from the sixth floor, per police documentation.
Further, police reviewed footage showing Wallen "lunging and throwing an object over the roof."
Wallen's first court appearance is scheduled for May 3rd morning. He's also set to perform at Nissan Stadium in Nashville the same night.
