Chick-fil-A is officially expanding its footprint in the Sunshine State. The popular fast-food giant just opened a new delivery-only ghost kitchen in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood. The strategic move allows the company to successfully bypass the real estate constraints faced by traditional brick-and-mortar restaurants.
The new location operates entirely within the innovative CloudKitchens network. It marks the privately held company's very first delivery-only kitchen in Florida and just its sixth nationwide. The efficient business model allows the company to maximize kitchen capacity and meet heavy consumer demand without the massive overhead costs of a traditional dining room.
The delivery hub is located at 1900 NE Miami Court. The facility will fulfill customer orders primarily through prominent third-party delivery platforms. It will operate Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to midnight, which extends two hours later than a typical dine-in location's closing time.
Chick-fil-A has opened its first delivery-only "ghost kitchen" in Florida, launching the Chick-fil-A Wynwood Delivery location on June 2 within the CloudKitchens network in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood -- the chain's sixth such facility in the country. https://t.co/uTdJurmA2A

The new Wynwood operation is expected to create approximately 30 new jobs for the local community. The private enterprise will offer hands-on training, career mentoring, and competitive benefits for its new workers. This expansion highlights the brand's ongoing commitment to local job growth and economic opportunity.
"We know how important fast and reliable delivery is to Wynwood, and we want to meet the community where they are while keeping our signature hospitality," local owner-operator Thomas Overby said in a press release. "Being born and raised in Miami, serving this community is very special to me. Our new delivery kitchen location gives us the opportunity to serve the Wynwood community in a way that works best for them and gives me the privilege to deepen my connection with my hometown," Overby added.
Traditional restaurants frequently face severe constraints including seating capacity, limited kitchen space, and restricted operating hours. This delivery-only model allows the popular brand to serve a much larger customer base at full capacity. Partnering with established infrastructure networks like CloudKitchens allows the company to rapidly deploy its framework into high-density urban markets.
Unlike its publicly traded competitors, Chick-fil-A remains a privately held company with no public shareholders. The beloved brand successfully reigns as America’s third-largest quick-service restaurant chain. The careful rollout of this model mirrors similar measured expansions into global markets like England and Singapore, alongside five other domestic delivery locations in Maryland, Tennessee, Kentucky, Massachusetts, and Northern California.
