Charlamagne tha God Floats Conspiracy Theory After GOP Tax Bill Passed

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God didn’t hold back on Tuesday, ripping into the GOP’s newly passed “Big, Beautiful Bill.” He suggested the only reason Republicans are pushing such an unpopular measure is because they already know the next elections are rigged.

The controversial bill, signed into law by former President Donald Trump on July 4, locks in his 2017 tax cuts. It eliminates federal taxes on tips and overtime pay, and the Congressional Budget Office says it’ll cost nearly $4.4 trillion over the next decade. It also boosts border security funding and formalizes Trump’s strict immigration measures.

Critics on both sides of the aisle are lining up. Some say the bill explodes the deficit. Others argue it slashes vital programs like Medicaid. According to reports, up to 17 million Americans could lose access to food assistance and healthcare.

Speaking on “The Breakfast Club,” Charlamagne didn’t mince words. “Now, this bill is going to cut Medicaid and food assistance for up to 17 million Americans, right?” he said. “You see Republicans and Democrats have spoken out against this bill.”

“Some folks are calling it political suicide,” he continued. “They say the GOP is going to lose a bunch of seats in the midterms.” But Charlamagne isn’t so sure Republicans are worried about that.

“If the GOP doesn’t seem to be concerned about that, then what does that tell y’all folks?” he asked. “The fight is probably already fixed, when it comes to the midterm elections, you know, and 2028.”

He questioned why any party would pass something this risky—unless they had a secret advantage. “If something is political suicide and you pass it anyway, then you know something the rest of us don’t,” he said. “Or maybe we do know, and we’re just sitting around waiting for the inevitable.”

Charlamagne ended with a blunt message: “Free and fair elections, my a--,” he said. “We’ll see in a couple of years.”
