Former Joe Biden promised to do "everything possible" to make sure Americans wear masks in public if he were elected. Biden told KDKA that wearing masks in public helps slow the spread of coronavirus.
"I would go back to making sure that everybody had masks," Biden said. During this interview, both he and the interviewer were wearing masks and standing more than six feet apart.
"The one thing we do know is that these masks make a gigantic difference. I would insist that everybody in public be wearing that masks," Biden continued. "I would do everything possible to make it required that people have to wear masks in public."
The Centers for Disease Control recommends wearing masks when in a location where it's tough to maintain social distance. On their website, it says "cloth masks may slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others."
Joe Biden realizes that the only thing he has working in his favor is that he appeals to the Never Trumpers. He takes every opportunity to point out how he will do things differently. Creepy Joe needs a better selling point than he will make people wear masks.
