Arby’s is preparing to bring back Steak Nuggets just months after the item disappeared from menus. The beef bites return for a limited time beginning Aug. 24, giving fans and skeptics another chance to decide where they stand.
The chain first introduced Steak Nuggets in October 2025. Arby’s describes the steak bites as tender cuts of beef seasoned with garlic and pepper for a smoky, savory flavor.
This time, the return comes with an upgrade. Every order will be paired with Arby’s new Horsey Ranch sauce, which combines the chain’s familiar Horsey Sauce with Ranch Dip.

Customers can order Steak Nuggets in five- or nine-piece servings. Arby’s will also offer a 20-count Party Pack, available digitally, that comes with two large orders of fries.
The chain is also putting the returning beef bites into two new comfort-food bowls. The Steak Nuggets Potato Bowl features crispy golden potatoes, melted cheese and Steak Nuggets.
A second option, the Steak ’N Mac Bowl, layers Steak Nuggets over white cheddar macaroni and cheese with crispy onions. It is a hearty twist on the chain’s previous Steak Nugget Bowl and leans into the kind of stick-to-your-ribs meal customers expect from Arby’s.
The original Steak Nuggets run generated a divided response online. One Facebook user said, “Honestly I want the steak nuggets to be a permanent fixture, they're amazing.” Another called them “One of the only disappointing meats Arby's has ever had.”

The mixed reaction has not stopped curious customers from lining up for another try. With a new sauce, an updated steak cut and new bowl formats, Arby’s is betting that the returning item can win over more diners this time around.
