On Sunday, 18 Senate Republicans, or should I say RINOS, voted to advance the so-called "bipartisan" infrastructure bill. The vote came out to 68-29 in favor of the bill, also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
The bill could be picked up as early as Tuesday morning. Which unfortunately means they could pass the $1.2 trillion legislation in the middle of the night as we sleep.
The 18 GOP sellouts include:
- Roy Blunt (R-MO)
- Richard Burr (R-NC)
- Bill Cassidy (R-LA)
- Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV)
- Susan Collins (R-ME)
- Kevin Cramer (R-ND)
- John Hoeven (R-ND)
- Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
- Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
- Rob Portman (R-OH)
- Jim Risch (R-ID)
- Mitt Romney (R-UT)
- Thom Tillis (R-NC)
- Deb Fischer (R-NE)
- John Cornyn (R-TX)
- Roger Wicker (R-MS)
- Dan Sullivan (R-AK)
- Mike Crapo (R-ID)
18 Republicans joined with Dems, per @kristin__wilson.

Wicker was previously against the legislation, so what swayed him to vote in favor? I smell dirty deals under the table.
“The bill we’re now debating is far from perfect. If I were the only one with a pen, I would have made many changes. But at the end of the day, I believe this package will do a great service for the United States of America and a great service to my home state of Mississippi,” Wicker said on Sunday.
Politicians need to remember that we elect them to represent us. If they are not doing their job, then we will have to elect new politicians who will.

Sen. Cruz: 'Pelosi is Drunk on Power' - Probably Vodka Too
On Thursday, Senator Ted Cruz slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the Senate floor, declaring that she is drunk on power with her new mask mandates. Power isn't the only thing she is drunk on...I'd say there is some vodka in the mix too.
“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts, absolutely. Great men are almost exclusively bad men, even where they exercise influence and not authority,” Cruz said, pulling from a series of letters to Bishop Craig from Lord Acton. He added that “those words were true in 1887, and they’re true today.”

Joe Biden. Bless his heart. How he has wormed his way into the Oval Office when he should be in a nursing home is beyond me. Yet here we are.
Today, Biden sat in front of cameras for what appears to be a wildfire briefing. Suddenly a staffer comes into view and slides a piece of paper to Biden. He reads it, and then promptly wipes his chin. However, he then holds the note where the camera can see it at different points. Once, it even faces the camera directly.

Throughout former President Donald Trump's entire presidency, it was an ongoing issue with Democrats that they did not have Trump's tax returns. Unlike other recent presidents, he did not disclose that information.

Rep. Greg Murphy Warns Against U.S. 'Orwellian Atmosphere' With COVID
On Friday, Rep. Greg Murphy warned that our country is developing "an Orwellian atmosphere" during an interview with Newsmax.
''I've tried to be, as a physician, very consistent through this entire process,'' said Murphy, who is also a medical doctor. Sen. Marsha Blackburn: New Mask Mandates an 'Overreach'
Senator Marsha Blackburn roasted Nancy Pelosi and others who are calling for renewed mask mandates, stating that they "obviously are not following the science and they do not believe in the efficacy of the vaccines."
"I think it's a bit of an overreach," she told Newsmax on Friday. "You are seeing (Speaker) Nancy Pelosi try to pull another power play. Bear in mind, since last March of 2020, what have we heard from these guys. They want lockdowns. They want you to wear gloves, to mask up, to socially distance."
Rep. Steve Scalise: Democrats are 'Throwing Science Out the Window'
On Friday, Rep. Steve Scalise declared that Democrats are ''throwing science out the window'' in regards to COVID and mask mandates.
''If you look at this, you know that the science is being thrown out the window a lot of times because a lot of these Democrats wanted the (COVID-related) shutdowns last year, they wanted to keep kids out of schools, and you see some of them trying to lay the groundwork for that to happen again. That can't happen again," he told Newsmax. ''The science says...
