A woman was detained at Mexico City International Airport following a violent incident at a ticket counter, prompted by a reservation mix-up. The 56-year-old woman, identified as María Guadalupe, had booked a flight via a travel agency, but her booking was not listed in the Volaris system.
Guadalupe was seen reacting angrily in a cellphone video, clambering atop the baggage scale at the counter and hurling a computer screen to the ground. This event transpired after she was advised by the ticket agent to approach the travel agency for a refund.
Her disagreement with the employees persisted, and in a display of frustration, she flung a barcode scanner to the ground. This spectacle unfolded to the astonishment of fellow passengers waiting to check in their luggage.

"If you don't want to, don't give me the money back. I don't give a f***. But that's going to cost you," she shouted at one of the agents.
"Don't give it to me. But you pay for that, and if you don't want to, it's very nice."
Subsequently, she moved to another counter, where she seized a screen and a keyboard, violently throwing both onto the floor.
An individual stood nearby, apparently waiting for Guadalupe to exhaust her rage before guiding her away from the scene.
