Federal Agents Descend on Twin Cities Sites
Federal and state agents moved across multiple Twin Cities locations Thursday morning in what the FBI described as “court-authorized investigative activity.” One confirmed site was the St. Louis Park office of Iska Inc., an active state-licensed provider of home and community-based services. FOX 9 reported that the operation involved the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General, U.S. Postal Inspectors, IRS criminal investigators, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Minnesota Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. That roster points toward a coordinated financial and health-care investigation, but it does not reveal what investigators are seeking. Officials did not publicly release an inventory of seized materials, name defendants or announce a criminal complaint. The raid is confirmed. The allegations remain undisclosed, which is an efficient way for official silence to create public curiosity.
What Is Known About Iska Inc.
CBS Minnesota reported that employees arrived to find agents removing boxes from the office and the glass in the front door shattered. Iska describes itself as a culturally competent agency providing therapy and social services to disabled people in the Twin Cities. Employees told the station they had worked there for years providing autism services. Minnesota’s licensing database listed the company’s license as active Thursday. The license covers respite care, individualized home supports, day support and employment services. The public record also shows a correction order issued in February 2024. The license became effective in March 2016, was renewed or updated in January 2026 and is due for renewal at the end of this year. The state page listed no current restrictions or satellite locations. None of those records establishes that the company or any individual committed a crime.
Vance Visit Adds Political Timing
Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to appear in St. Cloud on Friday with members of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud. The visit is expected to include a major announcement tied to the Trump administration’s “War on Fraud.” Neither the FBI nor the White House has connected the searches to Vance’s visit. Still, the two developments are unfolding less than 24 hours apart, making the timing hard to ignore. That is timing, not proof of a connection. The calendar is doing some of the talking because the agencies are not.
Officials Release Few Details
On-scene video posted by Eric Daugherty showed a damaged entrance and a heavy law-enforcement presence. FOX 9 and CBS Minnesota described the operation as a developing investigation and relied on statements from the FBI’s Minneapolis office rather than guessing at possible charges. The FBI confirmed that the activity was court-authorized and involved multiple sites, but it did not provide a public list of seized items, named defendants or a criminal complaint. A court-authorized search permits investigators to enter and examine a location. It is not a finding of guilt. For now, the public has a busy scene, a large agency lineup and a thin official explanation.
Trump Claims Broader Minnesota Investigations
President Trump told supporters this week that high-level investigations were underway in Minnesota, renewing attention on the state’s long-running fraud scandals. A post by Eric Daugherty showed Trump criticizing Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison as “crooked” and referring to alleged theft involving Tim Walz. Those political claims are separate from the official record of the Iska search. The information released so far does not publicly tie the operation to Walz, Ellison or the president’s remarks. It shows that multiple agencies conducted court-authorized activity while the underlying allegations remained out of public view.
🚨 NOW: President Trump just hinted that HIGH-LEVEL investigations are underway in Tim Walz's Minnesota, calling AG Keith Ellison "CROOKED"
Don't let Walz and Ellison walk away from this! 🔥
