Former NFL player Rashad Jennings, despite his athletic prowess, seems to lack familiarity with renowned Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino.
Jennings, who had an eight-year stint in the NFL before hanging up his cleats in 2017, appeared on Wednesday's "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune." In a surprising twist, he stumbled near the finish line, incorrectly guessing a puzzle with only one letter left.
The ex-New York Giants star was just a letter "Q" away from solving the puzzle "driving to Reno with Quentin Tarantino," yet he mistakenly called out the letter "P."
"No, I’m sorry no," responded a disheartened Pat Sajak, the show's veteran host.

Jennings, at 38, participated on behalf of his initiative, The Rashad Jennings Foundation.
"We focus on health, leadership, mentorship and reading," he mentioned in a clip shared on social media.
"Literacy is a big deal to me. I grew up with a 0.6 GPA at one point in time, overweight chubby kid with glasses, asthma and I’ve overcome that to become a New York Times bestseller and I have a reading challenge in about over 500 schools right now. We’ve had over 500,000 books read in the last 10 years, something I’m very proud of and we’re going to continue to do."
Jennings handled the moment well when he poked fun at himself while promoting his appearance on Instagram.
"Catch me on Wheel Of Fortune tomorrow night! You will definitely get a laugh," he shared.
Jennings had an eight-year tenure in the NFL. Selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft, he later joined the Raiders for a short period. By 2014, the Giants had signed him, where he quickly became a starting player.
He hung up his cleats in 2017, concluding his NFL journey with a total of 3,772 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns.
