Costco has quietly shut down Costco Next, its online marketplace that allowed members to buy discounted merchandise and services directly from dozens of partner brands.
Visitors to Costco’s former Costco Next member-services page now receive a notice stating: “Access to Costco Next store fronts is no longer available.” The page includes a detailed list of vendor return-policy contacts and instructs customers to contact the vendor directly for eligible returns and warranty inquiries.

Costco did not publicly announce the shutdown before the service disappeared. The East Bay Times reported that Costco Next was abruptly taken offline during the week of Aug. 31, and USA TODAY reported that Costco did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the program’s closure.
Costco Next was a curated member benefit rather than a conventional Costco.com marketplace. It allowed Costco members to order selected products directly from participating manufacturers at prices or terms negotiated through Costco, with the vendor generally fulfilling the order and handling post-purchase support.
Participating brands included Anker, Priority Bicycles, Viking Culinary, Briggs & Riley, Caraway, EcoFlow, Grohe, Jacuzzi, Travelpro, Vaultek and ZLINE, among many others. Costco’s former support page continues to list contact information for more than 60 vendors whose customers may still have active return policies or warranty claims.
The Costco support page lists vendor-specific phone numbers, email addresses and operating hours. That is the most reliable place to start because return eligibility and warranty terms can vary by company.
